DAY9

I'm now homeless again. All my life I lived in a small house with my family and never moved. Now I'm moving constantly. I don't know where we are headed but it's far from here. Yes I said we. Well, see the whole thing started when I woke up to John on top of me shaking me awake. I smelt smoke and thought he might of just burnt breakfast. Then I saw the panic on his face.

John: The house is on fire! We have to get out now!!
Me: What did you do!!
John: The house is on fire! We have to go!
(I grabbed my journal, we flashed out of the house. We looked up and saw the house in flames.)
Me: How? How could they have found us?!?
Hunter: It was easy.
(The hunter stepped towards us and looked me strait in the eye.)
Hunter: We followed you let you settle then attacked. How does it feel to lose everything twice?
(She laughed. I wanted to cry but I knew I couldn't give her the satisfaction. I studied her and listened to the cracking of wood behind us. The house was burning to nothing. I studied her face. The strange swirling gold and red running along the side of her face. From the black hater to her leather pants and healed boots she emanated power.)
Me: Who are you?
Hunter: I'm your death!
(She lunged at me. I caught her in the throat and threw her to the ground. She wasn't down long. She pulled a medieval sword out of the air and swung at me. I couldn't manifest anything. I didn't know how to do that. Just when she was inches from my throat John countered her attack with his own sword. They spared back and forth for what seemed hours. In that moment I knew how weak I really was.
I just wanted to know why hunters were still after me. Still no one told me this vital piece of information.)
Me: Why are you after me?
(She tried to attack but I blasted her with a ball of fire from off the house.)
Hunter: You should die for who you are!
Me: What the hell did I do?!?
(I was pissed and the tree by the house knew it, so it felt like helping. The tree's roots flew from underground and bound her down.)
Me: What... did... I... do?
Hunter: You stayed alive! They should have killed you when they had the chance! Since you where born you endangered all the Olympians!
(She was crying now.)
Me: What are you talking about?
Hunter: You can't just get powers like yours. Your born with them.
Me: WHAT?!?!
(What was she saying? I was never human?)
Hunter: NO!
(She started to gag and shake. What was happening? Was she faking? I looked at John.)
Me: Whats happening?
John: She said too much. So she was killed.
Me: By who?
John: I don't know but I've got an idea.

After that we didn't talk at all. We just left. We were walking down the street and I couldn't stand it anymore. I had to talk to him. I went to ask him what was going on, but before any words left my mouth he looked me dead in the eye and kissed me! Now I'd been kissed a couple time and of course yesterday but this... this was different. I felt like I would melt in his arms.I kissed him back and we stood on the side of the empty street. I was in heaven. He pulled away and I pouted at him. He laughed at that then just held his hand to my cheek. He just held his hand there and smiled. I placed my hand over his and held it and for a while I felt normal. I felt like it was our first date and I would go home and tell all my friends tomorrow. But I knew it couldn't last. I wasn't normal, but I knew if he was there I would be find. He turned and we walked down the street hand in hand. He could have easily just poofed us somewhere else but neither of us wanted to rush the current bliss we both felt.
Now he is asleep next to me on the bus going north. I'm still holding his hand.
